About Us

Sourpuss Circus began as a way for me to see the beauty in my own fat queer body.

Society tells us that being fat is wrong, and expects us to perform miserably for the patriarchy’s entertainment. My art is meant to express those complicated feelings of sadness and shame in performance for others, while showing exactly why fat bodies are actually so beautiful in the first place.

I hope that I can make someone love their body today, despite what the world expects them to feel about it.
